November – Frost and Fire

Thank you so much for coming to visit a dog poet, and enter my world.  This is my response to Colleen’s weekly poetry challenge. This weeks challenge gives us poets the  opportunity to choose our own two words, to be used as synonyms, in our poems. I have gone for seasonal words, choosing frost and fire. The muse has directed me to a Haiku and  Senryu, with parenthesis! – I think I’ve got that right Colleen 🙂

  1. Thank you very much Colleen. I intend to tuck up a lot of the time through the winter, making sure my leg is totally better. We thought it was fine but, after three games of ball, I hurt it again. Lots of rest and lots of poetry is the order of the day. Hugs Ben 🐾 💞

  2. That looks like a cozy fireplace, Ben. And you look adorable all curled up on that comfy sofa. You should be getting lots of rest to ensure your leg gets better faster. Both your Haiku are lovely. I enjoyed your post! ❤ xo
