Ben’s world 02/04/2018

Hello,

how lovely of you to visit me, thank you. This is a snap shot of my world in response to the weekly questions posed in Cee’s Share Your World  post.

You can read all about my v. v. v big adventure by visiting my home page  and also, my Munro blogs. All my poems are here dog-poets page

What was or is your favourite cartoon?

Peanuts is my favourite cartoon and Snoopy is my favourite character. There aren’t too many of us dogs pursuing literary careers and he has been a bit of a trail blazer. Obviously though, being a Border Collie, I have kept up with the technology 🙂

Which cooking utensil (other than the usual pots and pans etc) would you miss the most?

A pair of scissors. They may not strictly be a cooking utensil but where would I be without them 🙁

Wainwright’s dog food is my dinner of choice and how could I get into the bag without the the scissors.

After a big day on the hills I come back to a v. v. v big bowl of Wainwrights. I have turkey and rice or lamb and rice as a rule but, on special occasions, it’s Salmon and potato – yummy.

After my people have had a big day on the hills they like to open a bottle of beer called Wainwrights so, I suppose, their favourite kitchen utensil would be a bottle opener.

Actually, I wouldn’t dismiss any cooking utensil because I’m v. v. v big on the end results 🙂

Would you dare to sleep in haunted house overnight?

Oh no, not on my own, being of a nervous disposition. I get spooked so easily, fireworks and motor bikes back firing especially, even the fire sparking. Though if my person was there I’d have to protect her wouldn’t I? I might do a lot of barking and try to sound like a very big and ferocious beast.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?

Jan, who blogs at strange goings on in the shed suggested that I join AA (Ankles Anonymous), because I go chasing ankles on bike pedals. My people did lots of laughing so I thought I should join in. I did look into it because I’m always open to a bit of self-improvement (my people say there’s quite a lot of it to go), but I don’t think I’m quite ready for the 12 steps yet, especially number four and  eight.

Ankles Anonymous – The Twelve Steps (please let me know if this link doesn’t work)

It came about because Colleen re-blogged my last  SYW post and then Jan responded to it. I think me and Colleen are developing one of those special transatlantic relationships they go on about. It isn’t political, so it is just magic ❤. A wonderful week 😊

Love Ben xx
