Hello,

how lovely of you to visit me, thank you. This is a snap shot of my world in response to the questions posed in Cee’s weekly ‘Share Your World

What is your favorite color of hair? You can name your hair color or a color that you just like.

I’m a tri coloured Border Collie, mostly dark brown, which is a bit difficult to work with. However, I’ve got a streak of white running down my nose and I wondered about a bit of purple and orange, for a punk dog effect. What do you think, would it suit me?

My person is getting more and more grey but I’m not sure I’m allowed to tell you that. I hope I don’t go that way.

List at least 5 things that you are good at.

  1. Playing ball
  2. Swimming
  3. Play fighting with Oscar my best pal
  4. Eating up ALL of my dinner
  5. Unconditional love

What is your favorite animal or type of animal? (pets, dolphins, stuffed, wild cats, etc)

Well now, it used to be dogs, for obvious reasons, but just recently I’ve got a friend from an altogether different species called Mickey. He is a rather tenacious little mouse that got into my van and hung around for three months, despite our best efforts to move him on. You can read all about him here. In the end I grew very fond of him and I do miss him now! I was hoping he was going to come with us on our great adventure.

  10. Ben is a talented lad, alas I am very sad. My rescued yorkie of six years crossed the rainbow bridge on Jan 13, 2018 and it broke my heart. I tried another rescue but gave him back because he just wasn’t my BUDDY. Ironically, I celebrated Chinese New Year, on Feb. 25th, it was actually the 16th but we had the luncheon on the 25th. I have a neighbor who is from Taiwan and we celebrate every year…there are two posts in my blog about this year and the last. This is the year of the dog, I got little yorkie cutouts from Etsy to put on the top of cupcakes for dessert in remembrance of Buddy. They are such sweet souls, those here and those departed. My Taiwanese neighbor says the hasn’t left me, just lingers behind the veil and from time to time I feel his presence and I know you must Ben’s sisters. If your person has time I would love her to check out my blog, GleaningsFromTheGlossies. I am just beginning to get it set up, but have been a writer for many years and a former high school English teacher. Tell your person to give you a hug from me dear sweet Ben.

  11. I am so sorry to hear about Buddy. That’s our trouble we are so faithful and such good companions but we have to go away far too soon. When that has to happen to me I’m going to look into this hidden veil thing. I’m sure I’ll find a few friends to hang out with there who are still keeping an eye out for their people.
    I’ll get my person to read your blog to me and we will have fun seeing it develop.
