My Everest

Friends, collies, fellow Everest Anywhere participants,

In this year alone, on 1st September, me and B had walked as high – while doing our Munros – as if we had climbed Everest, joining the Everest Anywhere challenge. On the way we surpassed the height of all the v. v. v. biggest mountains in the whole wide world. Just feast your eyes on this:When we were Just over half way around the Glenshee six…

Very near the top of Ben Vorlich (Loch Earn)…

The last day of our second weekend Munroing, between An Caisteal and on Beinn a’ Chroin…

And, about 1/3 rd of the way up Geal Charn…

Then… (trumpets and balloons please), just before getting to the top of Geal Charn (Monadhliath), on 1st September 2017 – with B’s knee in a v. v. v bad way – we conquered our own Everest. (8,848 metres).

How’s that for an orphan dog, with a bad start in life?

No wonder I need a good rest,

and so to bed
