Ben-loving celebrities – my Christmas competition

Friends, collies, dog-loving celebrities,

Due to the continuing rodent occupation of my van I’ve been a bit down in the mouth recently.

I had been saving up this v. v. v exciting news to share with you but Micky had taken the shine off my enthusiasm over the last couple of months, to say the least.

A long time ago I started to write to famous humans, who I understood to have an affinity with us canines; nothing ventured, nothing gained. I thought they might be interested in my big adventure and offer me a word of support. Many of them were men at the Beeb who profess their love for us and, do you know, not one of them even acknowledged my very best writing, so I’m right off Radio 2. Anyway, B says those men get paid far too much. Right on, Sarah Montague. Sorry, I digress.

There are though, some proper famous dog  lovers out there and I got replies from a few really big biggies. So, here is my Christmas competition.

Have a guess at which four celebrities have dropped me a line by using the comments box below. Any new visitors are welcome to have a go.

The reply nearest the mark will get a lovely prize to spring them into 2018. The closing date is 31st December 2017.

When I get back from my Christmas holidays I will post their comments on the home post of my blog. They said some lovely things about me too.

It’s all so exciting, I have to sleep.

And so to bed

Love Ben xx

  2. Great Tinking, pussy cat, watch this space.

Don’t be sending me any estimates for mouse catching activity. I couldn’t afford you if you takes you all this time.
My Micky has defeated our latest attempt by jumping 10 inches out of a deep cereal container, with no grip on it’s sides, after going down for his latest feast on my peanut butter.

Hope you have a lovely Christmas and no hanging off Christmas trees.
    Ben
